Dropdown Menu – Only want sub-items clickable, not menu heading item
-
My site is: willjohncock.com
When I hover over a dropdown menu heading item and the sub-items appear below it, I would only like the sub-items to be clickable, not the menu heading item itself.
As an example, on my site where the menu heading item is “Books”, I do not want to allow “Books” to be clickable. I only want the sub-items that drop down when it is hovered over to be clickable.
Is there CSS code for this please?
Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @willjohncock,
When I hover over a dropdown menu heading item and the sub-items appear below it, I would only like the sub-items to be clickable, not the menu heading item itself.
For that, you don’t require any CSS code. You can set Custom Link menu type for menu item, for example Books here, using Menu options in Customizer.
See below link for more detailsHow do I create an un-clickable parent tab for my sub-menu
