Dropdown menu turned clear?

Hi!
There was an update to my WordPress recently and I’ve just noticed that the dropdown menu has gone clear which has made the text very difficult to see. It was a solid light blue colour before and I’m not really sure what’s happened. I’ve gone through all my theme options and I can’t see anything there for this option. I found a CSS code to add to the theme but it made no changes at all. Just wondering if anyone might have an idea what might be the issue?
