Dropdown menu using Sandbox 1.6.1 ?
-
Hi,
I am using the css editor for sandbox 1.6.1. from scratch, and have some of my pages nested under parent pages.
The menu is displayed horizontally under the header bar.
The blog is currently private as it’s under construction, but the link is correct.I have read that dropdown menus are supported by the sandbox theme, but how would I go about using one?
By default, all the menu items are listed and are simply indented under the parent.Seeing as only the css can be changed and as far as I’m aware there’s no way of me including javascript files, how would this be done?
Any help would be much appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You know, there is someone that had done drop downs in Sandbox purely with CSS, but I can’t remember who it was.

I’ve done it! If you have a non-shoddy browser it should look a-ok, just click on my username to take a look. I’ve actually repositioned the custom menu widget and hidden the original navigation as this way i can take advantage of all the extra functionality. You can check out the custom code I’ve used or ask google about “suckerfish css dropdowns” and you should get lots of CSS only tutorials to browse through.

Brilliant! Thanks for your help everyone.
I think why a search didn’t find that thread before is because I was searching sandbox or css upgrade each time, oh well.
That was very useful, and it’s great to see from the code how they’ve achieved that.Nicely written, thanks guys!
