dropdown menus disappearing

  Hi all! I need a little help again. One of my readers reported a bug with the dropdown menus for pages. If she moved the cursor towards the dropdown menu the pointing finger changed into an arrow and the dropdown menu disappeared. She is on a Mac. It worked fine for me on my laptop yesterday but I’m experiencing the same issue today on my work computer. I’m using the Sunspot theme and the pages in question are the Gallery and Project pages (left sidebar). I run another blog with the Forever theme and all is fine over there so this seems to be a bug with the Sunspot theme.

  Hi,

  One of my readers reported a bug with the dropdown menus for pages.

  I was able to duplicate the error you report on my desktop PC with a 12″ x 9″ screen, with resolution 1024 x 768. It is impossible to reach the child pages at the default zoom setting. However, following one zoom click out, the drop-down menu works correctly. The drop-down menu also failed to work properly, in the same way that you’ve described above, after one, two, three, and four zoom clicks in.

  Thank you. I already knew that the left sidebar doesn’t show on mobile devices with this theme. I tried the zoom out and it worked correctly. Hope staff can fix the issue.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for reporting that problem with your menu! (And thank you, musicdoc1, for sharing those details about your setup. That helped me reproduce the problem on my end.)

  I’ve reported that issue to our theme developers so they can take a look at the way that menu works in the Sunspot theme. I’ll let you know when I get an update about that. :)

  Our team just made a change to the Sunspot theme to fix this issue with the dropdown menu. If you have any more trouble using that menu, please let me know! :)
