Dropdowns and Header

I’m using the site as a magazine. How do I create dropdown menus to add only specific pages rather than categories?

How do I edit a page header html? I can use developer tools to see what’s in the header and then I can add custom css, but what about adding new html elements or uploading a new custom header?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

How do I create dropdown menus to add only specific pages rather than categories?

If you are speaking of your top-level navigation (where Dear Abraxas and About currently display), you can create a custom menu. Directions for that can be found here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

You can add sub-menu items (links to previously-created pages) in the menu customizer.

How do I edit a page header html? I can use developer tools to see what’s in the header and then I can add custom css, but what about adding new html elements or uploading a new custom header?

You can upload and install a new Header here:
    https://harduniverse.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?

Simply click Header Image to upload whatever new image you’d like in that area.

Regarding HTML: you don’t have access to your site’s HTML here at WordPress.com.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!
