Dropping Registered Domain Name

  If I choose to drop my registered domain name, will I lose my wordpress account? Or will it simply revert to my blog title.wordpress.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Brenda – It will revert to your myquotesofencouragement.wordpress.com URL. Be aware, though, that any readers who’d been used to going to myquotesofencouragement.com directly will no longer arrive at your blog.

  Thank you, eurello. I have continued with my registered URL, but was asking for a friend who is having financial difficulty. She doesn’t want to lose what she has worked on, but doesn’t feel she wants to continue with the paid URL. I thought that’s how it worked, but wanted to make sure before advising her.
