dropping wordpress from domain name

  Hi there. I just switched to the trial of a premium account, and plan to continue once the trial is up. I’d like to drop the wordpress from my domain name, and that is listed as one of the benefits of the premium upgrade. But my domain name remains unchanged. (https://btlowry.wordpress.com) Could you tell me how I can change this to https://btlowry.com ? Thanks a lot.

  in order to have btlowry.com as your website address, you need to register that domain, as described at Register a New Domain.

  Thanks. I currently have my site at btlowry.wordpress.com
  I upgraded to premium (now on a trial version) mainly because i want the domain name btlowry.com
  here it says a domain name is part of the premium upgrade, but I don’t know how to switch the domain name.
