Dual Language Option

    Hi,
    I would like to give the readers of my site the option of seeing it in several languages. Not automatic translation, but the option of switching manually. Is that possible with this theme, and if so, how?

    The options aren’t really what I’m looking for. If it’s just about reading, then yes, I suppose you can have two different domains. But lets say theres a shopping cart involved and the customer started shopping, filled his cart and then wants to switch languages. If he is redirected to an entirely different site, he will lose his cart. The same goes for comments on posts. Two different domains aren’t really a solution.

    Many other websites just have an English/French/German button in the header, so you can just switch. That is what I’m looking for.

  • If you want to build a multilingual site with a shopping cart on WordPress.com, then you’ll need a Business plan and some plugins. A popular multilingual plugin that supports WooCommerce is WPML, for example.
