dual sites

    Hello. I have two WordPress sites with almost the same name.
    One is jessiefabling.wordpress.com and the other is
    jessiefabling.com. The second site is registered with WordPress as the content manager for that particular domain name (jessiefabling.com). I would like to delete the first on. Will that affect the second one?

    Hi there,

    You’re correct that you have two sites with us, but they’re https://jessiefabling.wordpress.com/ and https://jessiefablingblog.wordpress.com/, and both appear to be empty.

    Your site at jessiefabling.com has no connection at all to us. You built that site using the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org, and you’re hosting that site with Siteground.com.

    Deleting any of these three sites will have no effect on any of the other two, as each site is it’s own entity, even with the two that are hosted on WordPress.com. But you can entirely delete your WordPress.com account without it having any effect on your self-hosted WordPress site with Siteground, so it’s safe for you to continue here :)
