    Hi I had a domain name dufurntailored.com linked to one my dufurn tailored blog however the domain name seems to have disappeared and defaulted back to the word press domain name. Do you know where it’s gone and how I can get it back? I haven’t had any emails about it but may have been registered to an old email address. I’m not sure if it was bought through word press or on another site. Can anyone at wordpress find out for me?

    Hi there,

    Your domain expired on 2 April and have since been removed from our system. It is currently in the Redemption period at our registrar.

    I should still be able to recover the domain from our registrar, but they charge an $80 fee on top of the regular renewal fee for the domain. Let me know if you are willing to pay this fee and I can get the process started.

    The other option is to wait a few weeks for the domain to be released again, at which point you can buy it at the regular cost. But note that you run the risk of losing the domain if you choose this option, as someone else could register the domain before you do when it is released.
