Duotone now not working on my site suddenly

  Hi I use the block editor and use duotone to get colours on an image/cover.

  I suddenly noticed last night that on the live site they are not now working.

  I have made no changes and they were working last week and for months before.

  A WordPress.com runtime change must have happened.

  Is there a fix, bypass etc yet? I will try and sort but I think there has been a change.

  The photo with us outside Parliament should have a blue/black duotone and the bottom one red.

  It appears to be working on the site as described now.

  Were you able to correct this?

  I corrected by taking photos of the editor and using as base images as I wanted to make it look better.

  But it is NOT working just by using the duotone button. It appears ok in the block editor but the live site doesn’t display the duotone.

  Can you check what runtime changes have been made to WordPress.com?

  Just create a simple page with a cover and try and use duotone. It won’t work.

  There appears to be a new option on a cover, called ‘overlay’ which I suspect appears to be interfering with it?

  Hm, I’m not able to reproduce the problem myself.

  Would you mind building a test page on your site showing the problem so we can investigate a bit more closely on the specific issue?

  The documentation page should have a duotone of red but it’s clear.

  In the editor it’s coloured.

  I have also noticed that I now have to enable the link colour by block!

  Something has changed in the runtime.

  I use the blank theme.

  Some folks have been able to use a CSS work around which you can see in the reports here: https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/5259

  I would wait for the fix unless it is vital to the site.
