duped email

It seems I can’t remember if at one point I had 2 wordpress blogs– I received an email saying that I had to change my email because someone else was using it. That is not the case because the email addy is my personal one and registered. Can you share how this might happen and share what blog is using this other email? here is my site trumpeter.wordpress.com

No it’s actually in my profile too. It shows my email but before the email — it says “dupe 2”.

@Pandar1 I would suggest contacting support once they open on Monday morning (9am PDT) as no one here in the forums has access to that stuff. Hopefully they should be able to help sort it out.

It would be because (now) every user has to have a unique email. Most users just have one user with several blogs. It might be that the system put that in there because it had to to have this constraint. If nothing else is out of place it might just be that. Unless someone else has some more to add to this discussion, you might have to ask staff. Give it a little time though if it isn’t hurting anything :)

ok– well i figured it out. Apparently a year ago I created a different blog and completely forgot about it– uf-dah! Anyway– I found the blog and deleted it since I only use the one i currently have.

Staff are the only ones with backend access to help you fix this one, so you will have to find a way to contact them through the website or possibly an email if you can’t find a time that is convenient for you!

Just a quick question, are the emails sent to that email address come to you now? If they are, then I guess it isn’t a problem? Just wondering ;)
