The above is not really the blog I am looking for help with but I could not figure out a way to change it and when I try to login to forum with my correct user name it says not registered. If I try to register again it asks for email address which is actually the user name associated with the above blog.
I keep requesting new passwords but get them for the wrong (old) blog. I have spent hours on this. I am glad to pay most anything at this point for help. Supposed to be a day off.
Shall I just post the question here although it is not a blog I have used in years?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I had a blog mveba.wordpress.com. I do not remember what that user name is but probably mveba.
Our blog is mvbuyeragents.com/blog with user name fredroven. i am able to login fine and use it. When I try to login to forum from the latter blog using the same user name and password it does not work. If I try to register using the correct user name I get message saying no account. If I use the email associated with the correct blog I get a password reset for the old account. I really am willing to pay most anything. Truly driving me crazy. -

It sounds like there’s some confusion about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. Your site http://mveba.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.com site. Your site http://www.mvbuyeragents.com/blog is a self hosted WordPress.org site. Here’s some more information about the differences:
The log in you use on your WordPress.org site is not related to your WordPress.com account in any way.

Not at all. I certainly know the difference. Now I was forced to use a new password and until I get to my staff they have no access.
Every time I try to reset password for my user name it asks for email. Email is the same for both accounts and the password for the account with a different user name I cannot reset.
Can’t I just pay someone to help? I have spent many hours over 2 days trying to correct this. -
There is no user fredroven here on WordPress.com and email addresses can only be associated with one WordPress.com account. So if your email address is associated with the account mveba, it can’t be associated with this second account you’re having trouble with.
Back to your original question, what is the site you’re trying to get access to that you’re not getting password reset emails for?

It’s fine to argue details. All I know for sure is I have a BLOG mvbuyeragents.com/blog. The user name for that account is fredroven. When I attempt to login to forum from that page the same login does not work. The only option is to enter my email address for reference and I receive a password for an old site with a user name Mveba. I am happy to send screen shots to substantiate this issue.

This really is not even the issue. I want to log in with the fredroven account because I have an ongoing communication there regarding my original question.

http://www.mvbuyeragents.com/blog is not a WordPress.COM site; it is a WordPress.ORG site and you need to be in their forums for help with that version of the software. If it’s a login problem, you need to contact the web host for that site.

Yes, you do. And I’m sure that your username there is fredroven. However, that account is not associated with WordPress.com. It only exists on your self hosted installation of WordPress.
