Duplicate accounts

  Hello

  I have 3 accounts with WordPress and would like to merge them, or at least cancel two of them without any impact on my PRIMARY account that’s used with my Bluehost hosted site..

  I created OTHER ACCOUNT 1 when starting to use Akismet with my site that’s controlled by my PRIMARY WP account. I’m worried that if I close this account then my site will be affected

  I created OTHER ACCOUNT 2 when starting up a new website that’s hosted on the same Bluehost account.

  What is your advice please? It’s very confusing for a newbie!

  Hi Mike –

  Are you asking about duplicate accounts on WordPress.org (I think you are) or WordPress.com?

  The site is not using WordPress.com, but it runs on the stand alone WordPress installation, known as WordPress.org.

  You’ll likely want to consult the volunteer community at https://wordpress.org/support/

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
