Duplicate accounts, help fix?

    Hi,

    I have a wordpress account associated with my website, associated email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    I was trying to connect via my social media presence as an option as well, and it told me that I had a second account created already from a few years ago, only linked to my Google account, (email visible only to moderators and staff). (with periods in between the words; google does not differentiate between periods and no periods in emails).

    I believe I need to delete this account to then link the social media to my other account at I don’t want to risk my websites/access with the other account (no periods) being lost. What is the best way to proceed here? can I just delete the social media linked only account and then relink properly to second account, or will I be booted for 30 days before I can do that?

    There is nothing on this social media only linked account that I need to keep (no websites)

    Hi there,

    I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are you using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
