Duplicate Blogs and missing posts

  Hi All

  I’ve been trying to get some help for about a week on this problem so my apologies if this post is a duplicate.

  Basically the problem is that under the My Blogs section I see two blogs both entitled UnshapedAdrian Plays. The link is http://unshapedadrian.wordpress.com.

  Over the last two weeks I have added some content to the blog even though it was a duplicate, one published post, 3 drafts and an update About Page. Now when you go to the front page of the blog all the content is missing and the theme is set back to default.

  Can someone help me fix my duplicate blog problem and help me get my posts back?

  I have been having the same problem and am also trying to figure out how to get it fixed. I was told that Staff is able to fix it, but I have not heard back from any staff on mine. I’ve been waiting 3 days, not sure what the normal turn around is.
  I know this is no help, but just wanted to let you know you aren’t alone on this issue.

  So my blog was back earlier on this evening, although the duplicates still exist. I went back to finish off a post and they have all gone again.

  Hi,
  I am having the same problem with one of my two blogs. One works fine, the other is duplicated and posts seem to be missing one day (back to post of day 1) to reappear the day after. On my dashboard I can see the history of my Activities (Your stuff). The blog in question is: http://crawlout.wordpress.com/
  How do I solve this?

  Since this post seems to be getting help, I have a duplicate blog I need removed also

  http://iplaywithpaper.wordpress.com

  however, the bigger problem I am having is that my posts keep disappearing. they are published and I like them to other websites and they work fine, I get comments and everything. then the next morning they are gone. this is the 2nd day in a row this has happened.

  @bckywgnr- I have removed the duplicate blog! The posts disappearing should be because of the issue with the duplicate blog. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. It should not happen from here on out.

  @mitziflyte- HI there, your’s is a bit different. I see that you have Jetpack connected to one site and not the other. Which one would you like to keep – mitziflyte.wordpress.com (mapped to mitziflyte.com) or http://www.mitziflyte.com (Jetpack)?

  Grace,

  My duplicate blog is still showing. It does now say “My Blog” where it used to say “My Blogs” but they are both still there once I click on it.

  Also, will the missing posts not come back? They did yesterday

  Thanks Grace – we had the Jetpack site first, when mitziflyte.com was self-hosted .org blog. We migrated it to the mitziflyte.wordpress.com account and redirected the domain.

  Short answer – the wordpress.com account is the one we’d like to keep :) Thanks!

  I see only one blog now – thanks.

  my last question is about the posts that have disappeared. Yesterday they were gone in the morning but came back in the afternoon. Before I go to all the work to recreate them, I want to make sure they wont re-appear on their own.

  @bckywgnr- Hi there, I went to your My Blogs page and I found that you only have one blog now as seen in the screenshot below:

  

  As for posts I imported two posts that were in the other blog into this blog. Please check your Posts page and see if those were the ones. :)
