Duplicate blogs under my profile

I have no idea what to make of this. Under my profile image (at the top right), when I hover and my list of blogs show up I have two links to the same blog, my primary blog. It is not messing anything up, but it’s just weird.
When I look at my blog list under when I click the “WordPress” link (at the top left), I shows up twice, but only one of them has posts on it. The other one is empty, but when I click on either link it takes me to my main one.
Like I said I don’t know what it means, how it happened or what to do about it. I would rather not have it, but I can live with it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi, I am having a similar issue: my initial blog (url and name) was saved under my personal name; I tried to convert it to one blog name (“clothes she wore, bands she saw”), but a corresponding URL was already taken, so I changed both the blog name and the URL to “the clothes she wore”. I wanted/opted to keep my original URL, under my name, but mark it as “hidden” (because right now the two blogs are the same; I presume I will use one with my personal name at some point for professional purposes). But now, when I log on, I go to the dashboard for the intermediate name (“clothes she wore, bands she saw”) — the name of the blog now hidden — when I just want to go straight to the dashboard for the renamed/new URL blog of “the clothes she wore.”
Sorry if this makes no sense!

@paisleystrange – I clicked on your username and the blog associated with it (clothesshewore.wordpress.com) has been deleted and just isn’t there at all.

Oy. I think it’s the “the” — I have to find the place back in my profile and add the “the” into the blog associated with the username: I have it right in other places, but obviously not in all the right places. Hope I can figure out how to do it… Thanks…

@paisleystrange – yep, that seems to work now. Who’d’ve thunk a ‘the’ would make all that difference! :)
By the way, while the support forum isn’t quite the right place to say so – you’ve got my favourite Sinead O’Connor song currently in your blog and I like your other posts I’ve seen so much you’ve got yourself another subscriber! (And it’s not cos you said I’m sensible and wise, either, though I thank you for that!)

Oh, thank you! My blog is really just a personal work in progress, I’m not sure yet what the point of it is – vintage clothes and urban melancholia about sums it up, I think. I have (I think) followed back on your art blog — I work directly with the UK and one of “my” authors lives in Monmouth, so I am intrigued by Wales — looking forward to exploring your site more!
