Duplicate comment approval email?

  Hello – does anyone know how to stop duplicate emails for comment approval? I get one from [email protected] and one from the author of the comment. So for ever one comment I get two approval emails.
  Ideas?

  You must have “email me whenever anyone posts a comment” and “Email me when a comment is held for approval” AND “hold all comments for approval” ticked. Just untick the first one and you should only get one email.

  I love you rain!

  I had just accepted it as the way it was and never bothered saying how much it irked me. I’m not sure why I checked both boxes to begin with.

  It would help if you explained where to find the option “email me whenever anyone posts a comment” etc, for the complete beginner

  Under Dashboard–>Options–>Discussion, right near the top.
