Can you duplicate the content from venivinipastacom onto venivinipasta?
Is there a way to link the sites to always be a copy of each other?
If not, can you delete all content on venivinipasta.WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there @stricktlyfree88, do you want to copy just the content over, or are you hoping to copy everything over including styles?
Let us know and we can advise.

I think I have 2 web sites
venivinipasta and venivinipastcom
I started a blog yesterday, I think in venivinipasta, but, I want it associated with venivinipastacom.
Can I copy and move the blog?
I also noticed that at the end my my web page, my social icons are now duplicated, I think this is because of my set up and is new and should correct once the blog is moved, correct?WP.com: Yes
Correct account: Yes -
Do not create duplicate threads! To avoid any confusion, just stick to your initial thread at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/duplicate-content-from-other-site/

I think I had it backwards.
Main web page is on: venivinipastacom.
Blog on venivinipasta.
want ot merge on to venivinipasta.com

Hi @stricktlyfree88, I’ve merged your threads so the info is in one place. I want to be sure we’ve got this right.
You have two sites:
You also have a domain:
- venivinipasta.com
Right now, that domain redirects to https://venivinipastacom.wordpress.com/ — did you want to set it up so the domain shows up properly? If so, there’s really no need to merge or replace content, but you do need a paid plan for that. The personal plan will work for that case:
If that is not what you had in mind, we could also work on moving the content from one site to the other. Please confirm whether you want to combine the content of the two sites, or completely replace venivinipasta.wordpress.com with the content of venivinipastacom.wordpress.com, regardless of potential data loss.

Hi;
thanks for helping.
venivinipastacom has the blog and the website looking good and together and http://www.venivinipasta.com directs to the venivinipastacom WordPress account, as I want.( Later I may upgrade to personal account to have the domain visible when directed to WordPress, thanks). Is the a way that whatever I put on venivinipastacom (wp) automatically duplicates on venivinipasta (wp)? Do I even need venivinipasta? Maybe I can just delete venivinipasta (wp)?
one issue I noticed, on the last webpage line, the social media links are duplicated and TikTok link doesn’t work, but closer to beginning of the website, tik tok works, not sure the issue?
thanks again

Hi there!
Is the a way that whatever I put on venivinipastacom (wp) automatically duplicates on venivinipasta (wp)? Do I even need venivinipasta? Maybe I can just delete venivinipasta (wp)?
There isn’t an automated way to do this. You can manually copy and publish the posts into the other blog. It’s up to you actually if you need the other blog. If you no longer need the content and are okay with deleting them forever, you can follow the instructions here:
This guide explains how to delete your WordPress.com website. Permanently Deleting Your SiteDeleting a Site with UpgradesAlternative OptionsReverse a Site DeletionAccount Closure Permanently Deleting Your Site ⚠️ Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com). If that’s not whatone issue I noticed, on the last webpage line, the social media links are duplicated and TikTok link doesn’t work, but closer to beginning of the website, tik tok works, not sure the issue?
It looks like you have inserted the links, but they are not in the right field. If you click My Site → Appearance → Customize → Menus → click on
Social Media.1, you will see the actual menu where those links have been added. You can click on the menu items to expand them and then click “Remove” to delete the duplicate ones.
As for the incorrect links, please refer to the screenshot below. You have inserted the actual link on the “Navigation Label” field, but they should go to the URL field instead.

You can copy the link from the “Navigation Label” field and paste it into the “URL” field. Once you’ve done this for all the menu items, click “Save Changes” at the top, and it will fix the links.
Hope that helps!
