Duplicate Fill Form Issue

  Hi team,

  We’re having a crazy problem with duplicate inbound forms coming through the site. Meaning, each time a lead fills out a form like ‘request a demo’ on our website, we get emailed about 5-6 times each. Why would these duplicates be happening? Please advise, thank you.

  I’m afraid that we can’t help directly because your blog.autoleadstar.com site is not with WordPress.com managed hosting. As such, we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.

  Instead, your host uses open-source WordPress.org software, which differs from what we offer here on WordPress.com.

  The good news though is that help is available in the WordPress.org forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

  Otherwise, you may want to contact Dreamhost for further support.

  I think there’s some confusion here. There’s three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software.

  Neither autoleadstar.com nor blog.autoleadstar.com is hosted here at WordPress.com – it’s hosted at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance:

  While site blog.autoleadstar.com is connected to your WordPress.com user account through the Jetpack plugin, we’re not your site host so there’s not much we can do here to help with your question as we can only assist with websites hosted at WordPress.com.
