Duplicate Main Image
-
Hello, I visited my site today and for some reason the main image was duplicated. Normally there’s just the image of the fighters behind the text explaining the blog, but now there’s a duplicate of that image sitting above it. I can’t see it when editting the page (even in code view), so how can I remove it?
The theme I’m using is Hever.
This is the second time that wordpress has changed my homepage without my input. This is just unacceptable.

Hi there!
This is the Featured Image for that page. You will want to remove it directly from the page’s settings here:

We will never modify your content for you so, if there are changes you do not recognize, I’d suggest changing your password and also, consider enabling the two-factor authentication, to increase the security of your account:

The page seems to have fixed itself, though I did have to remove a random button that appeared. Thanks for your help though, I’ll be sure to try that if it happens again.
The last change I had to my page was mentioned here: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/home-page-messed-up-2/
These sorts of changes seem more like theme errors rather than someone having access to my site. Is there a history of revisions I can check? If I notice changes across multiple pages, it could be vandalism, but if it’s not that I can only put it down to errors with the theme.

You can look at revisions for the page, sure:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/page-post-revisions/If you’ve been switching themes, staff could check on that for you. That doesn’t seem to be the case here though.
