duplicate meta descriptions

    I tried the semrush website audit tool, and it says that I have 12 pages with duplicate meta descriptions. I looked at the pages, and they all contain /tag/ in the web address. When I try to edit the meta description on the individual pages I’m taken to the posts page on the website, where all the posts are listed. I don’t seem to have an option to edit the page referred to in the web address given to me by the semrush audit. Is there a work around for this? I recently added tags and categories to all of my posts. I may have done something wrong or left something undone?

    I had a similar issue with tags on gastrorejuvenator.com! Most SEO plugins let you manage tag descriptions. Check your plugin settings (Yoast SEO is common) and you should be able to set unique descriptions for each tag.

    Use an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO or All in One SEO. These plugins allow you to set default meta descriptions for your tag and category pages.
