Duplicate metadata theme Typo
-
Hi everybody
hope you can help me. I selected Typo theme and I see at the foot of the post there are duplicate metadata (categories, recent comments, archive, etc.) , like 2 columns same each other. How can I delete one of them? ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi tamsley,
Have you checked Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets? It is possible that those widgets were added to 2 Footer Sidebars. If so, you can remove them from the sidebar that you do not want the duplicates to appear.

Hi mar1965
Following your advice I noticed I have 3 footer sidebars in Widgets, two of them have all the subcategories (recent comments, archive, etc.), the third is empty. Thinking that eliminating all the subcategories from footer sidebar 2 will eliminate the whole footer sidebar, I did that. But in the blog the 2 footer sidebar disappear!! Now I don´t have footer sidebar at all.Any thoughts?? Thanks.

Hi tamsley,
Sorry that you were unable to sort the issue out with the suggestions that I proposed and the misunderstanding about removing all of the items from Footer Sidebar 2. You should remove only those that appear twice.
I am not sure if you are going to revert back to the Typo theme or if you intend to use Chunk instead, but I noticed that you have switched themes since yesterday. If you are, then going back to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets and reconfiguring the contents of each of the Footer Sidebars should help restore the sidebar.
Let me know if you are still having trouble.

Hi mar1965
I eliminated all the buttons from footer sidebar 2 because all of them were duplicated. When I did that, the footer sidebar 2 was gone but footer sidebar 1 as well! (and I did not touch it)
Yeah, finally I change the theme.
Thanks!
