duplicate my site

  I have built a site to use for a fantasy league for my hockey club but was asked about creating one for another club. i would like to be able to use what i have already built as the template for the new site and make the changes that are required. i feel there would be significantly less work in this option.

  Can anyone advise if this can be done and how?

  Hello Mark,

  We don’t have a way to directly duplicate a site, but you can copy over the site content via our export-import feature. So you can transfer all your posts and pages from the one site to the other, so you at least won’t have to recreate those from scratch.

  But site settings and theme setup will have to be recreated manually. When I’ve had to do this in the past I’d open the two sites side by side in separate browser windows, and then work through the Customizer and Settings pages duplicating everything from the one site to the other.
