Duplicate Site

  I started setting up a blog on WordPress.com, but halfway through realized my domain provider bundled the WordPress extension with my website package. So I installed WordPress to my website, created a very nice blog, and was very happy.
  But recently, I haven’t been able to log in: when I try, I get directed to the account that I started on the WordPress site, and the credentials I provided to create my blog aren’t recognized. (Strangely, I can log in and edit my existing site using my phone.)
  Any advice?

  Hi there!

  To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

  We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

  To access your site, you’d go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

  Ah, that clears it up. I assumed the two would be integrated. Thanks for your help!
