Duplicate the wordpress blog on my own website – hurts google ranking?

  If i publish the same content on my wordpress blog and on my website (of same name – backpackingmama.wordpress.com and backpackingmama.in) –
  1. Will it confuse the googlebot and drop my ranking
  2. Which is more likely to get picked up between the two site if the content is exactly the same

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes. Creating a duplicate content site is like shooting your first site in the foot as far as search rankings go. The duplicate site will also be likely to end up in the supplementary search results where the sun don’t shine. . Read this please https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66359?hl=en
