duplicate web site

  I currently have a website at rackemsdisplays.com. Currently we sell sporting goods / safety racks. I want to seperate into two ebsites, one for safety, one for sporting goods. Same design and format of the site. Please help and suggest what are the next steps.

  It looks like the rackemsdisplays.com domain actually hasn’t been registered yet. Might the spelling be a bit different? Additionally, I’m not seeing any sites on the account that you’re posting from here.

  In general though, having two separate sites on WordPress.com will call for two separate plans. You can take a look into our plan options here at wordpress.com/pricing. We’re happy to clarify if you have further questions or more details.

  Hi Bud,
  Thank you for your reply. Our web site domain is rackemdisplays.com.
  We do understand that we will need separate sites on wordpress. So yes we would
  like a price quote for the same plan as the site for rackemdisplays.com.
  We would like the new site to be rackemsafety.com (which we own).

  Once we have the new site set up can we then duplicate our web site rackemdisplays. com to the rackemsafety.com site?

  Once we have the new site set up can we then duplicate our web site rackemdisplays. com to the rackemsafety.com site?

  You can export the content out of the first blog and import it into the second blog. I take it you want the same format an theme but not the same content of each site? If so, you can empty the content of the second site once you export it over. Other than that, creating the site from scratch might be best bet.

  Thanks again for your quick response. We will review the wordpress pricing but can you possibly tell us exactly what we have now so that we are sure to order the same again.
  We do want to export the same content from rackemdisplays.com and import into the second web site rackemsafety.com

  I don’t know if I’m missing something but

  Domain Name: RACKEMDISPLAYS.COM
  Registrar: GoDaddy.com, LLC
  Name Server: NS1.HOSTMONSTER.COM
  Name Server: NS2.HOSTMONSTER.COM

  To create anything similar here using WooCommerce would surely require a WordPress.com Business plan.

  You’re correct, @themagicrobot. To clarify, you’ll need a Business Plan for both sites in order to run the shops that are on your two sites.
