  how do I duplicate a blog?

  Hey there,

  Are you looking to duplicate the content (posts/pages/photos)? And are you trying to duplicate from one WordPress.com blog to another WordPress.com blog?

  If yes to both of the above questions, here’s how you can get started:

  • Export the content from the original blog. You do this by going to your dashboard, then to Tools > Export.
  • Import that file into the new, “duplicate” blog. Go to the new blog’s dashboard, then to Tools > Import. Upload the file you exported in the previous step.
  • Theme: Select the same theme you had on the previous blog.
  • Users: Re-add any users you had on the old blog to your new, duplicate blog.
  • Settings: If you had any custom settings like a time zone or blog name/tagline, you’ll have to manually update those to the new blog.
