Duplicating a WP blog to start another WP blog

  We would like to set up an identical blog to our existing blog, and simply modify some of the content on the new one. Is it possible to copy our entire blog with all it’s content or do we need to start from scratch to build a new blog? If it is possible to copy it, how would we go about doing this? Thanks in advance.

  Are you planning on keeping the original blog, or are you planning on letting it go once you’ve created the new one? If you no longer need the old site, you can simply change its name:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Good to know!

  While there isn’t a way to make a duplicate blog on WordPress.com, you can create a new blog and then import the old blog’s contents into it. Both blogs will have identical content. If you want the same aesthetics as the old blog, you will have to manually recreate those settings in Themes and Appearance. However, you’re also welcome to use a different theme for a unique “look.”
