Duplicating Posts from Self-Hosted RSS
-
Hi folks,
I recently transferred my wordpress.com hosted blog to my own server, I want my RSS feeds from my self-hosted blog to appear as posts in my wordpress.com hosted old blog, is there an easy way to do this?
Thank you!

There is NO way to do this as far as I am aware, and I desperately tried to get it done for an art project. I even had staff look into it. There is no way that we could discover to get stuff from an RSS feed automatically posted to a WP.com blog.
And btw staff have requested that if your blog here is just a duplicate of a blog elsewhere, that it be set to Private.

ah i see…
my issue seems to be that the wordpress.com hosted blog gets A LOT more traffic and pingbacks compared to a privately hosted site. I’m still getting pingbacks from the wordpress.com entries even if they’re no longer up to date.

Yes, that is why they want the one here set to Private. They want you to pick one or the other, essentially. They don’t mind you using this as a backup (and that’s smart to do) but duplicate sites to use the WP.com googlejuice is just too dark hat SEO for them, or at least that’s my supposition from seeing staff’s responses here in the forum.
