Duplicatin/Splitting A Blog
-
I have a blog which is the “Year Book” for my Golf Club. I like to keep previous years in an Archive section. With all the archived years the blog is now getting too big and I want to split off the archive section into a different blog, but still within my username.
Timethief advised that I use the Export Option. I did this. I could not find a way to export just the archive section so I exported the whole blog and impoted into a new blog I created within my user name. This worked although it was time consuming deleting all the material I did not want, i.e. stuff from the current year which remained in my original blog.
Luckily before I deleted all the archive material from my original blog, I tested the new blog. Whilst it had all the headings there was nothing within them, none of the pdf’s or photos in my original blog.
So how do I create a separate blog with all the pages and media from the Archive section of my original blog?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can add a new Category for each year then export only the year you want –
The Export function also has an option to export based on a time window
the media should have transferred
