DUplication of pages
-
Hello,
as you are introducing new features almost weekly, what about introducing the duplication of pages button?
If I need 2 very similar pages instead of adding a new one it would be wonderful to have the chance to duplicate it and then edit the copy f the pageThanks
-
Hi there,
We do have a Writing Helper that will let you do this for posts:
But it’s not available for pages. I’ll report this feature request to our developers though!

Hi,
thanks for the answer, but I don’t see this writing helper not in the post nor in the pages.
When I add a new page I don’t have this options below.
Maybe they are added by a plugin?
It would be awesome to have this function under the page title, in the page list (I attach a pic). What do you think?

If you’re using the new editors at https://wordpress.com/post , or https://wordpress.com/page , the Writing Helper is not available there.
However, it is an option while using the /wp-admin/ post editor:

The Writing Helper looks like this:
If it’s not there when you visit the editor, scroll to the top and look for your “Screen Options” tab. Make sure “Writing Helper” is checked:

In the link you posted me
https://dindiconlae.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpI do see the writing helper
You are right, in all the website with wordpress.org is not available.
I was writing in fact for others websites I am developing, in which I don’t use my wp account.
Tried to check writing editor in the screen options but is not available -
Ah, okay. The WordPress.com Writing Helper isn’t available for self-hosted sites right now. I’d search the Plugin directory at WordPress.org for one that might fit your needs:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/
Here’s one I found:
But on your WordPress.com site, it’s there for you. :)
