Duplication of photos in a single post

  On the Portfolio template, each photo I post gets repeated twice in the same post. I have seen and followed your tutorial but even if I select the STANDARD button and the PORTFOLIO ITEM BUTTON, and select that same image for FEATURED IMAGE, the first time the post gets published, the photo is duplicated. I have to go back to the Dashboard and again open EDIT, and then again select the STANDARD button which seems to slip back to IMAGE button. What is it that I am not following? Very frustrating to upload the same post twice!

  Hi there,

  I’m so sorry to hear that this is giving you troubles! I took a look at your Photography blog and I didn’t see any examples, thought that’s hardly surprising as I’m sure you are removing them immediately to keep your blog looking nice!

  Once of the nicer aspects of having a premium theme like you do is that you have access to a forum which is managed by the author of the theme itself. The forum address for Portfolio is:

  If you go there and review the posts from other users, you might find an answer to your issue, and if you don’t you can always post to the author yourself and see if there’s an explanation or a way around this double post problem!

  Hi,

  Thanks for your prompt response. I have written to the developer of the Portfolio template.

  Now the homepage URL – arpitabhawalphotography.wordpress.com is showing error. Is it possible that my photography blog homepage has been removed?

  Please note the error:

  Heya,

  I just went and took a look at your page, and did not see a 404 page. Usually when there are such errors showing, it is because a static page has been set but then no actual front page was determined in your Settings page at Settings >> Reading (or alternatively a page was set and then deleted).

  If you run across this again, you may want to check those settings!
