duplication when publishing

  Regarding sharing, I don’t understand ‘press this’. For example, I publish a post. Then I choose to share on facebook. But if I click on ‘press this’ does it simply duplicate to MY readers the notification of my post – or is it sending out to a bigger audience (ie people who read blogs but are not already my followers). So should I click ‘press this’ after I have published – or am I simply duplicating?

  If you already have Publicize enabled, there’s no need to use the ‘Press This’ button. This button is only for those that want to share your post or page with others.
