Duster Help
-
Well, I have the theme “Duster” for some blogs, and I can’t figure out how to get rid of the Title and Search Bar above the header.
-
Can we start with a link to your WordPress.com blog, starting with http:// so that it is clickable. (For some odd reason it seems your username is presently linked to Google.com.)
-
Sure, I’ll just post my test blog. http://testthisisaverydumbblog.wordpress.com/
I mean about the “My Blog” “Just another wordpress.com blog” and the search bar. I want those to be gone. and have the top of my page just be the header. -
@greenmarines
You can replace “My Blog” with another blog title on this page > Settings > Reading
You can remove the “Just another wordpress.com blog” optional tagline or replace it with another one on that same page > Settings > ReadingDo be aware that if you remove the blog title from that page the search spiders will not locate it and indexing of your blog will be negatively affected.

OOPS! I forgot to say that to remove the searchbar from the header area will require a CSS upgrade.
