Duster, new post ends up second from top

    Hi.
Found another issue with the duster theme.
I have set post as featured, and it show nicely on my front page.
Now, when I write a new post, it shows up UNDER the featured post in the “Blog” menu. That’s not what I want.
I want the featured post to always be on top on my showcase frontpage, but in my blogg I want the posts to keep stacking on each other the normal way.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

But your featured post – isn’t that a featured page? Wasn’t you feature set up as a page? If so all posts will always appear below the feature I strongly suspect.
If I understand you I suspect you can’t do what you want. Hopefully others more qualified will clarify.

That’s just the way the theme works.

If you want your most recent post to always be the “showcase” post, then each time you create a new post you have to set that post as a sticky post, and then “unstick” the previous post.

Thanks for your answers. What I want is to keep a certain post as my featured post, always visible at the top of my frontpage (the showcase), but I still want the blog to work like a normal blog, which means NOT keeping the featured post on top at all times within the blog.
I feel there’s a great risk that visitors will fail to notice new posts when there’s always the same post on top.

I suppose that’s how the theme is constructed then, unfortunately.
