Dyad 2 Editing Front Page

    Hello! I am building a page using Dyad 2 and have a few design questions.

    1) I am wanting to incorporate some static images into the front page mixed in with the ever changing blog posts. Is there a way to do that?

    2) The little icon on each story, is that customizable? If it’s about food, animals or strictly a blog post?

    3) Is there a way to have HEADER photos randomize between FEATURED stories in the header scroll??

    4) Is there a way I can get social media links into the header?

    I think that’s it for now.

    Hi LF,

    1) Instead of static images, could you consider adding posts with the photo format? The system’s only designed to pick up posts with the featured tag, so they would need to be posts. But they can be photo posts.

    2) You might be able to do this with some CSS customization. You may need to hire someone to create the custom code for you though as it’s beyond the scope of what we can offer here.

    3) Not really on this one. If you want to do random headers *instead* of a featured post slider, though, I think you can do that.

    4) Same answer as 2 — it’s likely it can be done, but layout changes are outside the scope of what we can offer with support, but we do have quite a few CSS tips here, or you can hire someone through UpWork.com or a similar service.
