Dyad 2 new blog posts

  I really like how the Dyad 2 theme presents new blog posts on the home page, i.e with the featured image on the left and the heading and excerpt on the right.

  However, I want some general introductory information on my home page just under the sub-heading and a contact information/contact form underneath the newest blog posts.

  I’ve tried to reconstruct this just using a blank homepage but I can’t get that ‘Dyad 2 style’ of the photo on the left and the heading and excerpt on the right, that I really want. Any help would be very much appreciated!!
