Dyad 2 Theme: How can I add an invisible tagline?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi there
    As a total wordpress beginner I’m desperately trying to prepare my wife’s blog crostiniqueen.com for its launch. I’d like to add a tagline to the site which shows up on google next to the name of the site; yet that is invisible on the website itself, since it would be messing with the design.
    There is a checkbox under “Site identity” to display (and hide) the sitename and tagline. However this does not work for me. Even if unchecked, any logline will show.

    I’d be very grateful for help.
    I’m only using the wordpress.com online costumization and the custom CSS feature (no wordpress.org or child theme).

    Thank you!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Please add the tagline to your site, then try using the css below to hide it:

    .banner-description {
        display: none;
    }
