Dyad 2 Theme – problem with Featured Content Slider

  Hi, downloaded Dyad 2 Theme and installed it to my website for a demo but I have a problem:
  when I go to “Costumize”, the option about “Featured Content” doesn’t appear!
  What’s wrong?

  Hi @ortodistrada!

  Is this for https://ortodistrada.wordpress.com/ ?

  When I open that site, I see the Featured Content working, and I see the option in the Customizer as well – is it working for you now, or perhaps were you working on a different site? :)

  is for a different site…
  for ortodistrada.wordpress.com I used the “activate” button on the theme page and it works;
  the other website is in another domain: I downloaded the theme and uploaded it on the administration panel and it doesn’t work, “Featured Content” doesn’t appear :-(

  If the other site is hosted somewhere else and not here on WordPress.com (it sounds like that might be the case because you’ve mentioned uploading the theme) then you’ll want to make sure you’ve installed the Jetpack plugin to enable WordPress.com features like Featured Content.

  Also – with questions for your other site (because it’s a little different than a .com site) , you’ll want to use the self hosted forum for that version of the theme:
  https://wordpress.org/support/theme/dyad

  That’s the original Dyad forum – just be sure to mention that you downloaded Dyad 2 from WordPress.com when you post there :)

  Hi Chad1008 maybe you could help me – when I go to the customiser, the ‘featured content’ tab isn’t there. I’ve checked plugins and jet pack is active.
  I’m at Mummy2twindividuals.wordpress.com

  Also in the content options I’ve selected to display ‘post excerpt’ rather than full blog posts and this displays correctly on a desktop and in the previews but when I tried looking on mobile devices, the whole blog post was being displayed…any ideas why?

  Your mummy2twindividuals.wordpress.com site uses the Baskerville 2 theme rather than the Dyad 2 theme being discussed on this thread.
