Dyad Default Images Pulling Through to Facebook Preview Thumbnails

  I have recently downloaded the Dyad template and am loving it so far but I am having an issue when I go to share the blog on Facebook. The preview thumbnail is not pulling through any images and I can not for the life of me work out why. I am using the images that came with the theme – is there a reason Facebook does not recognise them?

  Can someone help?

  Non jargon responses would be greatly appreciated as I am not a techie.

  Hi there,

  I used Facebook’s Debug tool to preview the way a few different pages on your site looked when shared to Facebook.

  Can you confirm that the home page is the only page that’s not displaying a thumbnail when shared?

  As per the recommendations we send out to Facebook, your blog’s icon will always be displayed when sharing your home page. You don’t currently have an icon set, which is why no thumbnail appears.

  Follow the steps here to upload an icon to your blog:

  Thank you – I do appreciate your help. Yes it is only the homepage, when I post the blog URL. When I post the blog article links with the featured image they work fine. I will follow the steps you have highlighted and let you know when it is working.
