Dyad Theme – Header won't change?
-
Dear Team,
I have just started to set up a new blog at https://stonehilltigers.wordpress.com/
Have chosen the Dyad Theme as we will be working with pictures a lot but it just won’t accept my header images. I have uploaded them and they are visible in the sidebar but they do not show on the real page. Tried Chrome and Safari.
Suggestions?
Thanks a lot,
KerstinThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Kerstin,
Can you let me know which page you’re referring to by the “real page?”
I’m able to see your featured images in the sidebar when visiting each of your individual pages. These won’t display elsewhere on your site.
The featured images that you assign to your posts (not pages) will be displayed on whichever page you set to be your site’s posts page. On the Dyad theme’s demo site, you’ll see that the front page is set up to display the site’s posts:
https://dyaddemo.wordpress.com/
Let me know if that helps or if you’re unclear on anything.

My site is jenniferkaylewis.wordpress.com
Email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
New theme is Libretto.
(I am like a ‘first-grader when it comes to understanding computer stuff).
PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP YOUR FEEDBACK VERY SIMPLE.TRYING TO LEARN WORDPRESS.
BEFORE I chose a ‘theme.’ I had Published a few posts. On my first few posts, I was able to add my Featured Image (a very small pic of me).
As soon as I starting using the Libretto ‘theme – then my small pic of me only shows the top of my head/hair.
Do I need to Delete the Theme? How do I do that? Do I need to somehow re-size my pic? Instead of trying to put it in the header, do I need to add my pic IN my post?
Why does it cut off my face? (my ‘edited Image is 111 x 130 pixels)Please answer via email.
Most Respectfully,
Jennifer K. Lewis

Hi Jennifer,
I took a look over your site and am able to see the full image in the header. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing:
If the image is still cut off for you, please create a separate thread on this forum and I’ll be happy to help from there.
The reason I ask you to create a separate thread it that it’s easier for us to answer and triage different questions if they’re kept to different threads. Additionally, it would prevent the original poster on this thread receiving email notifications for an unrelated issue.
You can create a new thread via the following form:

Thanks!
