    Hi there,

While waiting for staff reply on same, please confirm if you have tried out the steps listed in the theme documentation under Featured Content Slider about Customizing Feature Content Slider.
    https://wordpress.com/theme/dyad-2

To add a post to the Featured Content Slider, the first step is to pick a special tag and set that in the Customizer’s Featured Content panel. For example, if you set the tag as featured, all posts tagged with “featured” will be displayed in the Featured Content slider.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply, but it is not the featured content slider that bothers me to configure..

    My question is:
How could i have a post content, that does not appear in the grid of posts under the slider area..

    examples:

    1. i would like to have a slider post (with the ‘featured’ tag) that does not appear -as duplicate content- under the slider.

    2. i would like to have a post that does not appear in the post grid but can be accessible via the main menu.

    thank you

I am using the Dyad 2 theme. I want to create a static homepage, however, under my page attributes for page, I do not have an option to set a template. I would need to create a page, then select that page as my “front page”. Is there are research I do not have this option? http://www.waynekenneth.org.

  • mhtcka – there isn’t really a way of hiding posts from the blog, without getting into trying to hide them with custom CSS, which is finicky, as it would need to be updated manually. Could you make them pages instead?

waynekenneth – to set a static page, you do need to create a page, and then go into your Customizer’s Homepage Settings panel and select it as your front page. If you need further help, please start your own thread or contact support directly.
