Dynamic Image Gallery based on tags?

  I am getting underway with a new blog and expect to be posting a large number of images in addition to writing. I was curious if it is possible to have a gallery (or multiple galleries) populate dynamically based on how an image in the library is tagged? For example, if every picture of a dog has a “dog” tag (pun intended), can I create a gallery that pulls in those images? When a new image is loaded and tagged as “dog”, the gallery would automatically include the new image.

  I am sure there is custom code to do this, but I am trying to keep this simple.

  There is no option to pull the images into a gallery based on the tags.

  However we can tell Gallery Shortcode to pull all the images attached to a particular post and display them in a gallery. Please check the above link.

  Even more basic, there is no ability to add tags to images.
