Dynamic images in summary and full post
-
Hello everyone! I’m trying to keep the front page of my blog clean, but my posts contain large, full-size images that take up a lot of space. Ideally, I’d like a small thumbnail shown along with a summary on the front page, and a full-size image and full story when you click on the individual article.
I know you can use the “more” tag to keep a short summary on the front page, but is there any way to do this with images on a wordpress.com blog?
Thanks in advance,

Hi there. This might be possible using custom CSS (for which you’ll need an upgrade), but I don’t know of a way to do this with an upgrade-free blog.
You can post your question in the CSS customisation forum to find out if this will be possible and what code would be needed to achieve it: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform
See here for more info on purchasing the custom design upgrade:
