Dynamic (secondary) menu with post categories for blog ?
-
Please help me, I don’t even know how this is called so I don’t know what kind of plugin I need to look for. Am I looking for a smart grid or for a dynamic menu or what?
I need to make a dynamic menu with the post categories , and when you click on one item in the menu the page displays only the posts in that category? like this?
please I have been searching for days and I can’t do it (unless I pay upfront some plugin that I don’t even know if I can use)
please if you can suggest an appropriate widget or how can I create a secondary menu (I tried from the Dashboard but it doesn’t appear, I need it in the middle of the page like in the example )
please I spent days on this and I don’t even know where to look
thank youThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
You do not need to move your site elsewhere to achieve this.
Using the Site Editor, you’ll be able to add a custom menu with Navigation Block:
https://wordpress.com/support/full-site-editing/theme-blocks/navigation-block/.
You can create a menu with just categories.
Or, you can create custom pages that will display only posts from certain categories, using Blog Posts block:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/.
If you’d still want to create your site with the WordPress.org software, you can delete your WordPress.com one by following these steps:
https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/.
You can also just set it as private, and keep in case you change your mind in the future :)

I was browsing questions about menus today and spotted this. They’re using elementor tabs on that site, possibly with a filtering plugin. Hoping that helps!
