dynamically hidden fields
-
Hi, we were wondering if there was a way to hide content until a specific button was pressed.
More specifically, we wanted to make it so that, after a visible button is pressed, a form would appear on the same page. This would help us to keep our site organized, and condense both the form and content on a single page, but not mandate that users see the form when they appear on the page.
Is there any way this is possible? -
In order to give an accurate answer we need the url of the website. Please provide that information.
The use of HTML has some limitations on most WordPress.com plans.
Some slight variation on this might do what you need:

Hi cordelljking,
There are no sites owned by the account you are logged in to at the moment. Can you follow @houstonweaver’s suggestion of sending a link to your site so I can take a look?
Thanks!

The website is mvi.org, though the specific page is https://www.mvi.org/dt_team/003/ .
We want to make the page such that, when they click the “Make a Donation” button, a form appears at the bottom of the page.
We want to structure it this way because not all of the people who visit our site have the best internet access, so it’s in our best interest to have as few pages as possible.
Thanks! -
@cordelljking ah okay. These forums are actually for the sites here at WordPress.com, which is different than what you have as your own WordPress installation at another host.
Since you’re using your own installation, you can find help over at WordPress.org. This may be particularly helpful.
