Hello.
I had a blog long time ago but I couldn’t remember the e-mail address that I was using for the blog. So I ended up creating a different account with a different e-mail address. But then I ended up remembering my e-mail for my existing blog so I deleted the account I recently created. Now I am trying to update my e-mail address for my existing account and change it with the deleted e-mail address but it says “the e-mail is already in use”. I tried to log in to see if they haven’t deleted the account but apparently they did. There is no such account but it’s not letting me use and update the e-mail address… What should I do?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve tagged this thread with modlook to bring it to the attention of a member of staff. They should be able to check the logs to see what’s happening.

Hi there,
What is the email and the username of the account you deleted?
It will take 30 days after an account is closed before the email connected to the account is deleted completely. You’ll only be able to use that email on a different account once that happens.
But if you reply to the account closure email we sent you when you closed the account you can request there that we manually delete the email to make it available immediately.
