E-Mail Address in “My Profile” versus “Options”

  I successfully changed my Contact Info e-mail address on the Your Profile and Personal Options page. I changed it on the page, clicked the Update Profile button, and then received an e-mail at the new address with a confirmation link, which I clicked to change the address.

  However, I seem to be unable to change the e-mail address in the General Options page of one of my blogs. I change the e-mail address in the box, click on Update Options, get the Options Saved message, but no confirmation e-mail is being received at the new address, and the old e-mail address repopulates the box.

  Anyone have any ideas about what is going on?

  That’s funny. After trying a whole bunch of times yesterday and this morning, I tried again right after I posted my question, and it worked. I received the confirmation e-mail, clicked the link, and it changed.

  I was changing it to a gmail address. Maybe gmail was filtering out the e-mails?
