E-mail addresses not captured by follow blog widget

I added a follow blog widget on my wordpress.com website using the following information:

I’ve tested the site, petite style uk, by adding my hotmail e-mail address into the blank box. I get an e-mail in my hotmail account asking me to active my following and once I’ve done this, I get another e-mail saying that I’m now following the blog. So all is OK if you register as a follower.
As a result of the above, I get an e-mail from my petitestyleuk e-mail address saying:
Howdy,
Someone just followed petite style uk.

Their email address is
If you don’t want to be notified of new followers any more:

Why doesn’t this person’s e-mail address get displayed so that I can capture their e-mail address? Is there any way of capturing their e-mail address using wordpress.com?
If someone contact me via the contacts page, I get their e-mail address sent to me.

Click Email Followers -
